Director of Pharmacy - Full-Time

Description:As a full-time, exempt, Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Director of Pharmacy,youwill oversee all pharmacy operationsof the acute care main campus hospital (Marietta Memorial), and a critical access hospital (Shelby Memorial). Duites including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team.
Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 8:00a-4:30p.
About the Facility:Marietta Memorial Health System is a not-for-profit integrated health system, accrediated by HFAP, that includes a 200-bed acute care hospital, 25 bed critical access hospital, and two outpatient infusion centers. About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy department is open 24 hours. The pharmacy is a has a decentralized distrubition model and utilizes CPOE and Pyxis dispensing cabinets. Clinical programs include AMS, anticoagulation services and pharmacist rounding.There are a total of 16 FTE Pharmacists and a 18 FTE Pharmacy Technicians. The dress code isbusiness attire.
BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
Ohio Pharmacist licensein good standing
At least 5 years recent pharmacy management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment.
Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.
Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.
(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Hepatitis B3 Series or declination
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
