OhioMeansJobs|Cleveland-Cuyahoga County is partnering with a local manufacturing company to source for a Maintenance Coordinator.

  1. JOB TITLE DESCRIPTION:

 

1.1 The Maintenance Engineering Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and maintaining the electronic maintenance system, PM generation, spare parts inventory and assisting in installs and repairs as secondary duties.

 

 

  1. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

 

  • This position Directly reports to: Maintenance Manager

 

 

  1. RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

 

The responsibilities and authorities for this position include, but are certainly not limited to:

 

3.1 Plan and schedule downtime repairs with maintenance and other departments

3.2 Communicate with Customers via phone or email as necessary

3.3 Assign and monitor preventative maintenance.

3.4 Assists with tool crib inventory and transactions

3.5 Generates all work orders and schedules them in accordance with priority for the facility’s success.

3.6 Provides and tracks maintenance metrics to determine success factors of the department.

3.7 Participates in Plant wide 5S initiatives

3.8 Promote an atmosphere of Teamwork at all times

3.9 Maintain a clean and safe working environment

3.10 Create, verify, and manipulate spreadsheets, data tables and reports as needed

3.11 Completion of any other duties as assigned

3.12 Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating System and all Health & Safety

and Environmental legislation

3.13 Abide by Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct

3.14 Assist Materials Department in completing cycle counts

3.15 Completes other duties as assigned.

 

 

  1. HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

4.1 The Maintenance Engineering Coordinator is responsible for complying with the Company Health & Safety Program including Occupational Health & Safety Legislation, regulations, standards and Company Health & Safety policies. Reference: JDA-003 Worker/Supplied Labour Health & Safety Responsibilities (Addendum to Worker Job Descriptions).

 

 

  1. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of trade/college preferred.

 

 

  1. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

This position requires the following minimum work experience qualifications:

 

  • Work in maintenance or trade skills a plus.
  • Aptitude to work with mechanical, electrical and pneumatic operations.
  • Acceptable performance record and attendance record required
  • Prior work experience in a plating operations or around chemicals a plus.

 

 

  1. MINIMUM TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

 

This position requires the following minimum training:

 

  • SDS
  • Plasman Quality / Environmental/Safety Policy awareness
  • New Employee Orientation (when required)

 

 

 

  1. OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

 

This position requires the following minimum training:

 

8.1 Ability to perform well in high pressure situations

8.2 Must be self-motivated

8.3 Must have demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal

8.4 Must have intermediate computer skills

8.5 Ability to prioritize and adjust work based on requirement

8.6 Meets expectation rating for relevant competencies.

8.7 Access to reliable transportation
