Summary:

Contract Coordinator will oversee Akron Children's Hospital's electronic document management systems. They will load documents, categorize them and ensure searchability. Contract Coordinator will also oversee the maintenance and contract routing for appropriate signatures, follow established processes pre and post-execution to ensure metrics, tracking, compliance, and timely execution of contracts. Serves as a liaison between all departments within the Akron Children's Hospital organization and the Legal Department to process, route, and execute all contracts.

Responsibilities:
 Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: contract administration, maintaining and chief operator of contact management system.
Primary custodian of in-house contract management system.
Assists in preparation of information for distribution regarding contract status, compliance documentation, modifications, negotiations, and terminations.
Maintain and coordinate contract expiration dates.
Finalize contracts and agreements including securing signatures, oversee handoff of completed agreements, manage all back-end data input and processing, including initiating the account setup process.
Maintain accurate records regarding all contractual agreements.
Prepares special reports and analyses, as required.

Other information:

Technical Expertise
 Paralegal experience with preparing contracts is strongly preferred.
Corporate Paralegal experience is strongly preferred.
Experience working with contract or document management databases is required.
Experience dealing with others in a sensitive and tactful way is required.
Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
Experience managing contracts in a legal or healthcare organization is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

Education and Experience
 Education: Bachelor's degree in legal studies, healthcare, business administration, or related field required.
Years of relevant experience: 5+ years is preferred.
Years of experience supervising: None required.
