Job Description

The Corporate Recruiting Specialist collaborates with the management team to meet the staffing needs by providing support in various recruitment and selection activities including, but not limited to: creating job advertisements, posting position announcements to various sources, screening applicants, scheduling interviews and coordinating pre-employment assessments. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the Corporate Recruiting Specialist will also work directly with branch staff to assist with on-boarding, employee relations and to help with various recruiting/HR projects as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume recruiting role, preferably in a manufacturing setting

Ability to partner with and assist employees at all levels of the organization

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS/ATS systems

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills to provide structure to a demanding position

Proven teamwork skills coupled with the ability to work independently

Strong self-motivation skills and desire to continously learn

Ability to travel to various Olympic Steel divisions across the country, 4-6 times annually
