REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 09/17/2021-12/15/2021. Must agree to work Mon-Fri, 7 hours per day, Sat, 5 hours. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. Must read, and agree to, all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 3 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 50 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen, criminal background check.
JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Workers will operate tractors, sprayers, combines, harvesters and ground carts. Workers will plant, pull weeds and harvest by hand in areas machines cannot reach, maintain and service equipment and farm buildings. Workers will drive semi trucks to transport harvest and must possess a CDL or have valid drivers license and be eligible for a CDL. Workers will also be required to take a post hire drug test that is at the expense of the employer. Must have 3 months verifiable experience with a 400 hp tractor and other heavy farm equipment operation. The employer will only make deductions from the workers’ pay in accordance with federal, state and local laws. Domestic workers will have Social Security and Federal Taxes deducted as per the local, state and federal laws. Foreign workers are exempt from these taxes and will not have them deducted, unless otherwise designated in writing by the worker. All workers are subject to reasonable repair cost of damage, other than that caused by normal wear and tear, may be charged to worker found to have been responsible for damage to housing or furnishings. Drug testing will be performed post hire and is at the expense of the employer. Drug testing will also be performed upon incidence or accident and failure or refusal to test will result in immediate termination.
BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.
TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.
TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
