Fall 2021 Marketing Intern

As the Marketing Intern, you will gain first-hand experience with many key Therma-Tru and Fypon marketing and communications initiatives, including product launches, shows and events, plus social media. You will have direct contact with all aspects of the business from channel marketing, engineering and product management to customers, providing the opportunity to learn how an "in-house agency" supports the needs of the enterprise.
Managing/supporting key brand and customer marketing programs and projects. This will provide experience with: brand management; project management; and customer interaction in the wholesale channel.
Generating/editing copy for use in multiple media (brochures, websites, press releases, customer communications/e-newsletters, promotions, etc.). Includes supporting key message development for the annual product class.
Communicate with outside Retail Representatives regarding marketing tools
May perform other duties as assigned
A successful Marketing Intern will have:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program focusing on sales, marketing, or related field
Should possess knowledge of Microsoft Products including Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of Constant Contact email tool
Willingness to learn
Creative, flexible and deadline oriented with a basic understanding of project management (planning, organizing, priority setting).
Must be able to function in a collaborative team environment.
Strong English & grammar skills
Knowledge of AP Style (preferred, but not required)
Great organization skills
Must show extreme responsibility
