Position Description:

Laserflex is a full-service precision metal fabricator specializing in laser material processing technology. With facilities located in Hilliard, OH and Greenville, SC, Laserflex provides services to a wide range of manufacturers throughout North America. By aligning technology and experience along with a commitment to service and quality, Laserflex provides the most efficient and competitively priced metal fabrication services in the marketplace.

We are currently looking for a full time Operations Manager based at our Hilliard, OH facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operations in our metal processing and distribution center to ensure operational effectiveness.  Accordingly, the Operations Manager will manage the input, throughput and output activities to meet the internal and external customer requirements.

Other Responsibilities Include:
* Management and motivation of supervisors and warehouse staff
* Promote and demonstrate a safe work environment (compliant with EPA/OSHA regulations)
* Demonstrate a high level of service internally and externally
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
* Customer satisfaction management of Quality with a 98% on-time delivery requirement
* Management of production metrics, establishing best practices and benchmarking
* Ensure the productive use of resources
* Implement continuous productivity improvements (use of LEAN tools)
* Maximum raw material usage for best scrap utilization
* Maintenance and equipment efficiency management
* Management of operational expenses to provide lowest cost solutions
* Oversee logistics, deliveries and fixed asset management
* Annual capital budget forecasting

* Ability to analyze complex situations and make timely decisions
* Ability to collect and analyze data to determine root cause of problem
* Ability to utilize the whole team and get along with location staff
* Ability to coach, train and otherwise help develop employees for advancement
* Ability to multi task when all projects are high priority

Position Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a management level role in an operations environment
* Strong problem solving and data analysis skills (proficiency with Excel is a must)
* Sound knowledge of employment laws and government regulations
* Effective interpersonal communication skills and an ability to lead, train and mentor supervisors
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and multiple tasks
* Knowledge of SAP preferred, knowledge of MIE Trak Pro preferred
