PHYSICIAN AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR: This position is the liaison between the Bethesda/Good Samaritan Medical Staff Office, Human Resources, Medical and Employee Education, Payroll, Legal/Risk, Technology vendors/IT, Sales and the Occupational Medicine physicians, physician assistants, team members and administration in matters of credentialing, recruitment, employee relations, payroll, education, and technology for Occupational Medicine. Responsibilities also include scheduling physician and physician extender coverage for the occupational medicine centers and client companies, company tours, and presentations. Oversees credentialing, agreements/contracts for client companies, reimbursement regulatory agencies, Managed Care Organizations and vendor specialists. Serves as the EMR trainer and works to enhance and educate the entire team on technology processes.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years in a related field
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, computer application skills.
