CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

The primary focus of the Part-Time HR Coordinator is to provide HR administrative support to the Corporate HQ HR staff, Employees, Managers and HR Business Partners within the company. This position requires excellent time management, communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality while prioritizing their workload and the workload of others. The HR Coordinator must be able to network and build relationships and provide primary administrative support while working on other projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide front desk reception duties for Corporate HQHR and the Center of Excellence (as needed)

Administrative support for the Corporate HQHR Managers, Directors and VPHR

Maintain lists for compliance initiatives & compliance training programs.  Follow up with Corporate managers/ employees/teams for completion of training and/or required tasks

Coordinate special projects for the department. Collaborate with other team members.

Monitor staff PTO tracking

Maintain/order/purchase all office supply inventory and employee kitchen inventory

Manage all incoming/outgoing mail functions, including reading incoming mail and independently handling and attaching appropriate file/information for recipients

Schedule meetings/conference calls and appointments and make travel arrangements for office employees as requested

Create, organize and maintain file systems and files, correspondence and other records

Create and maintain organization chart, excel spreadsheets. 

Assist department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures

Work with HR corporate team and planners to coordinate company and special event planning

Support day-to-day execution of programs -answering calls/emails from employees and community partners, coordinate Company support of community partner events, as requested

Assist with special projects as needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

Minimum 3-5 years office coordinator/administrative or customer service experience providing a wide variety of administrative and business support

Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs

Must have attention to detail, be proactive with problem solving, flexibility and creativity

Available to work 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday 12-5pm

Preferred:

Process improvement experience

Analytical and research skills

An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization/ possesses excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor

A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to work with minimal amount of supervision

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.

  Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.

  Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.

  Must be able to climb and descend stairs.

  Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.

  Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.

  Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.

  Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
