Overview




The Strategic Alliances Architect team is looking for an experienced, motivated, subject matter expert in Hyland products and solutions.  In this role you will be working with all three of the Strategic Alliances teams:  Systems Integrator, Independent Software Vendor, and OEM/BPO Sales to support the efforts of our Partner Managers and Sales Professionals.  If you are an experienced "go-to" consultant, solution architect, or sales engineer with a desire to broaden your experiences to truly developing a business with our partners, apply today!


What you will be doing




Be the primary technical point of contact for our SI partners and OEM prospects developing long term strategic relationships and trust
Provide support to and collaborate with SI Partner Managers in both determining approach and engagement strategy with their partners as well as in executing on Hyland's obligations to ensure the partner's success
Enable SI partners and OEM/BPO customers by packaging and promoting product certification, training, tools, and collateral available to Hyland's partner community
Lead customer pre-sales meetings, identify technical requirements, and formulate solution strategy
Create a demonstration of the solution strategy, applying solutions knowledge, experience and best practice knowledge
Present demonstration of proposed solution to key customer stakeholders for validation and buy-in
Coordinate meeting with global services to transition key information; remain actively involved in process to ensure seamless transfer of customer
Drive the Hyland product-side of proofs of concept for OEM prospects as well as joint go to market solutions with SI Partners with clear expectations of success criteria, collaborating with sector-aligned Sales resources, as appropriate
Collaborate with partners on demonstrations of solution strategy, applying solutions knowledge, experience and best practice knowledge
Drive OEM or Support SI partner-led demonstrations of proposed solutions to key customer stakeholders for validation and buy-in
Compose internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to the solution strategy
Provide technical responses for request for proposals (RFPs)
Take proactive measures to identify and improve internal efficiencies and grow knowledge of the team; remain current on best practices and market trends
Present at trade shows, conferences and events
Work with development in support of solution enhancements
Provide guidance to other team members
Compose internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to partner engagements, knowledge sharing both for the Strategic Alliances team as well as other Hyland departments, etc.
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy


What will make you successful




Bachelor's degree in related field, such as Management Information Systems or Computer Science
Significant experience in technical sales and relevant industry or technology
Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
Experience with general software implementation methodologies
Ability to read and understand source code
Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Self-directed with the ability to manage projects to completion
Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Demonstrated ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus
Driven to learn and stay current professionally
Up to 60% travel time required
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
