Job Description

Overview:
Delivers advanced technical training classes to industry professionals advancing their careers.

Topics are cutting edge cloud computing technologies.

Classes may include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Classes may be delivered at a training center, at on-site client location, or remotely via video conferencing.

Ensures training programs delivered meet client needs.

Provides feedback on quality of training delivery and course materials. Represents vendors such as AWS, Google, Microsoft, or Docker as their authorized trainers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:

Present course material to students to provide them valuable knowledge and skills. (35%)

Assist students with labs and answer questions to support their learning. (30%)

Study the latest technologies to expand knowledge and expertise on the topics being taught. (20%)

Evaluate student success and use feedback to improve teaching techniques. (10%)

Be a Subject Matter Expert to assist potential customers in choosing the right courses to purchase. (5%)

Qualifications:

Experience:

3+ years of relevant work experience.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree with Computer Science or equivalent experience Field of Study preferred.

Associate Degree with Computer Science or equivalent experience field of study required.

Certifications will vary depending on topics taught but instructor must be a certified on the technology and as an instructor. For example, a AWS instructor must be an AWS Authorized Trainer and minimally be a certified Amazon Web Services Architect.

Working Conditions:

Classroom environment.

Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

Professional, office environment.

Frequent Travel Required (50%).
