Aerospace on-site support is required to provide the NASA Glenn Research Center with Space Communications and Networks expertise on cutting-edge research projects to ensure they work on the ground before integration into a space flight project. Other work may include supporting the commercialization of space communications for NASA. The on-site Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be leading a team of other experts to provide a workable solution for the customer.
This position is located at GRC in Cleveland, OH.
What You'll Be Doing
The primary customer for this work is the NASA Communications Services Department and the Glenn Research Center (GRC)
This role will fit within the Human Exploration & Spaceflight group within the Aerospace Corporation.
The primary function of the role is to provide an on-site Aerospace Subject Matter Expert (SME) that will be leading a team of other experts to provide a workable solution for the customer on a variety of communication tasks.
Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed.
What You Need to be Successful
Applicable degree from an accredited program is required and subject to review
15+ years of experience in communications technology on NASA programs is desired.
Travel not expected but could be possible domestically approximately 1 time per year if comfortable to applicant.
