Force and Motion Control - Industrial, seeks a talented self-driven and high energy individual to serve as a Product manager. This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for the right candidate who will contribute as a member of the global product team. This role is responsible for managing the entire life cycle for specified product lines or business segments from initial product scope through maturity. The scope of this role includes new product introductions, existing product updates and mature product obsolescence. Execute on business plan to drive increased market share of the product portfolio in alignment with the business' global strategy
Complete competitive analysis for assigned product lines, benchmark of competitors, and identification of key markets
Drive sales & profitability through product scope expansion, pricing, and distributor expansions
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Sales, & other functions on assigned product lines to ensure all aspects of new products are coordinated for market success
Coordinate with marketing to establish promotional schedules for assigned product lines
Lead pricing for assigned product lines in the target market
Ensure data integrity within marketing channels (e.g. website, Distributors, etc.)
Identify, communicate and leverage best practices across the business and Barnes Group
Adherence to Barnes Code of Ethics and Conduct
Other projects/responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Two to five years of experience within principles of Product Management: marketing, product development, pricing, or project management. Global experience a plus.
A proven track record of implementing and successfully executing to strategies in a high-performance work environment.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related degree
MBA or related advanced degree preferred
