This position is located at The Ohio State University campus. This position is responsible for supporting ENGIE's Major Campus Partnerships, concentrated on the process of identifying and developing new business partnerships.

The successful candidate will work closely with ENGIE's business development team to focus on performing market research, generating potential customer leads, and identifying and analyzing trends from within higher education.

In this role, the candidate should have an interest in obtaining practical experience working in business development strategy, research, financial modeling, customer engagement content development, and marketing in the energy industry.

What you'll do:


The successful candidate will work closely with ENGIE's business development team to focus on performing market research, generating potential customer leads, and identifying and analyzing trends from within higher education.
In this role, the candidate should have an interest in obtaining practical experience working in business development strategy, research, financial modeling, customer engagement content development, and marketing in the energy industry.
Job responsibilities may include:
Collaborating with business unit leaders and business developers to execute market research, identify and analyze trends, and source potential customers based on variety of business factors
Identifying potential higher education customers that have a focus on sustainability and may be good candidates for long-term partnership
Providing comparative analysis for potential customers, comparing statistics, energy use, size and scope of campus to existing campus customers to identify similarities and differences
Recommending potential networking groups, events, conferences and related events to drive customer engagement, build industry presence and reach key leaders within the industry
Collecting data and presenting relevant analytical results to senior leadership with the goal of impacting business development strategy
Participating in conference calls with consultant firms and contributing independently researched data
Assessing end audience (customer or managerial) expectations and requirements and developing relevant targeted material to meet that expectation; iterating as needed.
Translating partnerships' message to meet marketing and communications needs as they arise.
Optimizing existing material and developing templates for distribution, publication, or archiving in consistent design format(s).
Other duties as assigned

 
Qualifications
What you bring:


Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
Junior or Senior preferred
Minimum 2 year completed course work within Business, Marketing, School of Communications or similar program
Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to take initiative
Excellent oral, written, and communication skills

Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
