Summary:
The Network Engineer is responsible for installation and monitoring the data/voice TCPIP network environment according to standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Installs and monitors the data/voice TCPIP network environment according to standards.

2. Assists with creating and following established procedures and guidelines for data/voice equipment installs as well as performs new installs and upgrades on standard environments.

3. Troubleshoots routine Data/VOIP issues.

4. Monitors and provide routine maintenance on data / voice TCPIP network environment.

5. Responsible for basic project management, including documentation, for routine data and VOIP implementations.

6. Works with external uninterruptible power supplies [UPS] either installing, configuring, and battery replacement.

7. Sets up equipment in management platforms for monitoring, backups and troubleshooting.

8. Other duties as required.

Other information:
Technical Expertise
1. Experience in routing and switching in a medium to large network is required.

2. Experience in wireless, security, or collaboration is preferred.

3. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.

4. Experience in healthcare is preferred.

5. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

Education and Experience
1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.

2. Certification: CCNA Routing/Switching, Security, Collaboration, and Wireless certification is preferred.

3. Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.

4. Years of experience supervising: None.
