ABOUT THE JOB:
The Control Operator uses technology to operate and monitor all merge conveyors. They provide a steady flow of product to the loading dock and maintain wave integrity to ensure proper load sequence and minimize out-of-sequence cases. Strong computer and technical skills are helpful. Knowledge of ANT, Visu, and JDK is helpful.
Monitor multiple technology displays and coordinate activities based on that data.
Start and stop conveyor lines to control the flow of product.
Monitor and report product flow that is diverted and/or aborted.
Monitor software alarms for jams, motor overloads, and stoppages.
Monitor outlying conveyor lines to ensure each department is selecting proper wave numbers and keeping up with the rest of the operation.
Work safely to prevent injury to people or damage to products and equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
