Job Description

The Health Data Science Team is looking for a Tableau Administrator/data engineer to help advance our sophistication with reporting products and services. This will include connecting to other product teams to ensure integration.

Responsibilities will include:

Tableau server administration
Configuring and maintaining the Tableau Server Software Layer
System administration (such as site creation, server maintenance, upgrades, and patches)
Change management including software, hardware upgrades, patches.
Monitoring server activity to identify possible performance issues/needed enhancements.
Performance tuning and server management of tableau server environment (clustering, load balancing)
Creating and managing groups, workbooks and projects, database views, data sources, and data
Integration with other applications/services such as TabPy and embedding using the Tableau API


Project management skills: ability to interface with other teams to gather information/feedback around reporting.
Tableau Dashboard Design
AWS (especially Redshift, S3 and EC2)
Git and code control
Publishing Docker images, building web services.


The team is distributed in both Irvine California with our main office in Louisville, KY. We are remote-work friendly.
