Job Description

Field Aerospace, a global provider of aircraft integration, modification, maintenance, logistics, and sustainment solutions is in search of a highly motivated, hands-on professional for the position of Director of Sales – Navy Programs.

The Director of Sales – Navy Programs is responsible for identifying and capturing new business for the company aligned with Field Aerospace’s strategic goals.  Developing and implementing strategy for top line growth at all Field Aerospace modification facilities across Canada and the US.  Responsible for working directly with the management team to provide strategic value and input to the business. Preferred locations include Cincinnati, OH, Washington DC area, remote within U.S.

Essential Job Functions:

Working with customers in understanding needs and requirements.

Manages an assigned customer base to maximize sales revenues, aligned with strategic goals, and meeting corporate objectives

Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through proactive planning and management

Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings

Accountable for proposal process and responding to price and schedule requests from customers

Developing presentations and proposals in support of major sales campaigns and briefing at the executive level.

Working across functions to develop solutions to customers’ requirements

Establishing and meeting sales objectives through forecasting and developing annual sales quotas

Position requires some travel, mostly within the Washington DC/Virginia area.

US citizen


Minimum of 10 years of progressive, relevant work experience.

Experience within the aerospace industry, preferably naval aviation

Experience within US Government and NAVAIR

Knowledge and understanding of U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally

Possess or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance

Must be proficient in Powerpoint, Excel, and Word.  Competent in Microsoft Project is a plus.


Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university is required

MBA or Master's Degree is preferred
