Ready to reach your potential? It's time to look at Taylor.
Your Opportunity: Here at American Yearbooks, a division of Taylor Corporation, we're looking for a Yearbook Education Specialist to help us create training materials, make our existing products better, and bring fresh ideas to the table! Our efforts are adviser- and student-centered, rooted in clear market insights, and should generate products and programs to drive not only yearbook innovation and relevance, but also sales. The successful candidate will be an extrovert who possess a keen understanding of the high school yearbook market and its competitive landscape, as well as contemporary book creation methods and processes.
This is a work-from-anywhere position. Preference will be given to current or former yearbook advisers who seek to expand their reach beyond a single program, current or former yearbook consultants or representatives who would rather work with staffs to help them create their books than work in a commission-based, sales role, or former yearbook staffers who want to share what they've learned with future generations of storytellers.
Once we've had a chance to review your resume, we'll be in touch regarding next steps! This may consist of having you submit a self-narrated video introducing yourself and then teaching a brief lesson of your choice or critiquing a yearbook or magazine spread. These strictly confidential videos should be a minimum of one and a maximum of five minutes in length in either .MP4 or .MOV formats. Videos will be evaluated for content and effectiveness of instruction, not production value.
