Quantech Services has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer III at Wright Patterson AFB, OH
Develop, research, design, implement, test and evaluate software and systems. Duties include:
Review program portfolio to evaluate and recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering processes, sustain program technical baseline.
Design and perform system level test to assure that system performance complies with program specifications.
Create technical documents that define, specify and recommend system characteristics. Conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation and corrective action.
Provide technical input for transition plans to migrate legacy logistics applications and environments with transformative capabilities.
Identify AF-PLM data requirements by researching and analyzing user needs, preferences, objectives and working methods.
Support the development of AF-PLM process models with a focus on downstream data usage.
Support validation efforts by working with the logistics community to identify issues.
EDUCATION:MS or BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
EXPERIENCE:12-15 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical DemandsThis is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing may be required . This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Mental Demands:Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism.
