The Senior Software Test Analyst is responsible for software quality assurance, planning, and execution of QA activities on a variety of applications which support Client While also defining, documenting, and refining effective release testing processes and methods, including tracking, measuring, and communicating release quality metrics.
The Senior Software Test Analyst will ensure that deliverables meet all stated requirements, customer expectations, and are of the highest quality before production deployment. This role will coordinate cross-product testing, and confirm clear timelines with any enhancement that touches multiple products.
In addition to primary responsibilities, this position may take on additional duties and responsibilities, such as backfilling other roles should the need arise. Review maintenance requirements to confirm testability and escalate issues as needed with external and/or internal software development partners.
? Develop new test scripts based on maintenance requirements for the respective product. This activity may extend to project efforts in addition to maintenance.
? Develop and maintain regression test suites to confirm existing business functionality for the respective product, with an emphasis on moving toward automation vs manual processes.
? Develop/select test data to support test execution.
? Link requirements and test cases in the test management system to ensure full test coverage for the respective product.
? Execute test plans for all project, maintenance, and regression testing efforts that impact the respective product.
? Assist the Product and Testing Coordinator in validating the business value for each story and ensuring the minimum viable products are delivered on time, with cost and with high quality constraints.
? Coordinate and execute software testing using clients and procedures.
? Ensure daily test verification is completed, with an emphasis on moving toward automation vs manual processes.
? Collaborate with FG colleagues in order to support test environment issue resolution.
? Ensure execution of maintenance, regression, and project tests, and evaluation of results.
? Support and/or execute deployment verification in pre-production and production environments.
? Coordinate/execute the testing activities necessary for releases to production.
? Cross-train on additional areas in order to expand system and process knowledge and ensure team coverage in the event of attrition.
? This position may take on additional duties and responsibilities, such as backfilling other roles, should the need arise. Provide regular updates to the Product and Testing Coordinator on activities related to their supported product.
? Identify and implement testing process improvement activities, with an emphasis on automated methods.
? Assist with onboarding of new Agile team members, as assigned, to the respective product team.
? Provide feedback/input to improve product processes with the goal of increasing team velocity and/or quality. Build and maintain an active level of engagement with SF2 business areas that are stakeholders of the respective product.
? Build and maintain an active level of engagement with the internal IT teams as well as external vendor partners that provide software development services.
? Assist the Product and Testing Coordinator with coordination and communication to the business teams when features will be delivered, tested and released to production.

For this position, there will be test analyst responsibilities primarily, including hands on system testing and business system and user acceptance test coordination. The ability to also provide light project management and software/business analyst support on an ad hoc basis will also be expected.
