CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP, Top 10 Public Accounting and Professional services firm is currently seeking an Experienced Audit Associate to join our office in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area to support our Federal clients.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

*Must be able to work with a team of professionals on audit engagements and work closely with Senior Associates, Managers, and Partners in the audit process

*Provide support on engagements and communicate effectively and timely

*Demonstrate strong research skills, capability to solve problems, and serve clients at a professional level at all times

*Provide quality audit support services in accordance with the relevant regulations, government policies/procedures and client policies/procedure

*Support performance, compliance, financial, internal and quality assurance audits

*Under direction of senior, proofs financial statements, audit reports and other documents

*Identifies and reconciles discrepancies between schedules and financial statements

*Analyze weekly/monthly financial reports/statements

Required Education and Skills:

*Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business or related field

*Must be a US Citizen and clearable; Interim or Secret Security Clearance or higher is highly desired

*1+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on Auditing and/ or related projects

*Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

*Skilled in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project)

*Ability to multitask and work both independently and on a team
