Cape Fox Federal Integrators is seeking an experienced Base Operational Medical Clinic (BOMC) Systems Engineer. The BOMC Systems Engineer provides a high degree of competency in systems engineering principles, models, and tools as applied within a systems approach to analysis, problem-solving, and solution design and implementation.. The BOMC Systems Engineer supports the U.S. Air Force Base Operational Medical Clinic (BOMC) and requires a Tier 1 background check clearance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Analyze, design, create, prototype, and evaluate clinical workflows with the goal of improving the overall usability of processes and minimizing work complexity.
Design and validate workflow packages for deployment to medical treatment facilities across the Air Force Medical Service.
Design and maintain the Air Force Medical Service related elements of the enterprise knowledge management user interface.
Analyze and validate user deficiency reports, and using Lean/Six Sigma principles and other proven methodologies and tools, recommend changes that will improve overall usability.
Plan and execute usability evaluations in clinical user environments, recommend process improvements to improve usability, and implement approved recommendations.
Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities.
Provide expertise in application of Lean/Six Sigma methodology in the analysis, design, development, prototyping, and assessment of clinical workflows.
Monitor clinical and process outcomes of workflows and identify process improvement opportunities.
