SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible for the management and coordination of key national and/or regional accounts within Shurtape Technologies, Consumer & Craftsman North American Sales team. Key areas of focus include customer relationships, generating sales revenue and profits, and management of independent manufacturer's representatives as well as internal sales support functions. This position also requires strong people, analytical and communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned)
Responsible for Region's P&L including sales and profitability.
Increase distribution of Shurtape's branded portfolio via existing and new account distribution.
In support of Shurtape's goals and objectives, and in tandem with the sales leadership Trade Marketing and Product Managers, annually develop product placement and promotional strategies for key customers.
Develop and foster strong relationships with key customers within area of responsibility.
Manage Independent sales representative team assigned to regions accounts, wherever applicable. This includes but is not limited to, annual agency goal setting, joint customer HQ calls, and annual evaluations.
Collaborate and develop accurate region forecast in support of key customer business initiatives. Utilize Shurtape PSA system to properly communicate region's product requirements.
Consistently review with Customer Care, Logistics, and Account Receivables, the necessary requirements needed to provide world class service to region's customers.
Communicate industry and competitive news to the Company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
5+ years selling experience (preferably consumer products).
Strong analytical, management and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Proven success in working independently.
Strong Computer Skills (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time

This is a fast-paced heavily office related, but includes retail store visits, customers, field /contractor observations, and supplier / vendor visits domestically and a work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment. Many duties listed above are time-sensitive and have strict deadlines for completion.
