The Content Marketing Specialist 3 is responsible for creating strategic marketing content through use of an array of editorial services, including writing, editing, researching and interviewing. This creator reliably produces accurate, on-brand, in-style, compelling content that contributes to trackable business goals and aligns with the company's strategic priorities.

What you will be doing

Collaborate with content strategy and other shared services teams in marketing to provide content support that contributes to revenue growth
Create content that meets the objectives outlined in a content strategy, which has been designed to meet the objectives of a campaign strategy
Create compelling content that drives traffic, engagement, and leads to deliver sales and customer retention
Consult with product and industry subject matter experts to unify messaging into compelling, error-free content that supports corporate/vertical/horizontal team goals
Execute content writing, including but not limited to, blogs, whitepapers, emails, social media posts, video scripts, website copy, digital ads and more
Adhere to brand standards and comply with editorial governance to ensure all content is consistent with the company's brand voice, style and tone
Collaborate with content strategy and operations teams on content performance metrics to ensure content is measured against business impact
Operate as an innovative thought leader among the team; contribute to the overall growth and quality of the department
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy

What will make you successful

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field required
Significant experience in content marketing / communications / writing
Expertise and utilization of content writing best practices
Demonstrated expertise with ability to write clear, concise, conversational and grammatically correct content
Strong experience in writing digital content for websites, landing pages, social channels, advertising, video, email
Strong experience making complex concepts easily understood and remembered
Proficient in Associate Press Stylebook "AP Style"
Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Self-motivated with follow through and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills with a history of building and maintaining relationships, both within a team and across departments
Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within a team environment
Up to 10% travel required
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
