We are seeking an Intermediate level Corporate Communications and Copywiriter to join our Marketing team!!
As a full time, Corporate Communications and Copywriter with Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS), you will create and implement communications that effectively describe and promote CPS and its solutions/products under the supervision of the Marketing Director. This highly visible role is responsible for developing and managing internal
communications, website copy and company intranet copy in a fast paced environment while working with company leadership and various subject matter experts inside of CPS. In addition, this role will also gain experience with marketing campaigns, and social media programs we have developed for our prospective clients.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday day shifts and may include evenings and weekends based upon business needs.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing field required.
2+ years of experience in copywriting, communications, marketing, or media/public relations; agency experience a plus
Recent experience with press releases, RFPs/reports, pitches, case studies/whitepapers, articles and social media content
To understand the health system pharmacy industry and articulate understanding of specific capabilities /solutions of CPS
To develop compelling, persuasive, and memorable content.
To create advertising slogans and copy.
To develop and conduct subject matter expert interviews to gain the best overall story to write.
Skilled with editing and proofing copy from other sources.
To determine prospective clients' needs and objectives with specific advertising campaign.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft applications: Word, Teams, Outlook and general computer aptitude.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Write copy for both corporate communications and operating business units including but not limited to client and customer communications such as proposals, RFPs, reports, web copy, intranet copy and brochureware.
Interview subject matter experts and develop case study and white paper content for website blogs, articles, and other marketing uses.
Develop marketing communications and copy for health system pharmacy clients including patient welcome packet, brochure, advertising, campaigns, etc.
Conduct research to proactively develop thought leadership articles that are engaging and actionable for clients and customers.
Managing internal communications across the enterprise, CPS intranet home page content, producing client focused content and other marketing communications tasks as needed.
