Remote Support Team Leader - Low Voltage Drives / Motion Control Systems

Technical Skills:

High level of expertise in RA products such as Architectural and Component level Inverter drives i.e.,PowerFlex750 series products, Legacy products, PF4xx, PF5xx products and solutions as well as Motion Control Drive systems

Knowledge of standard Rockwell Automation software:Studio5000,ControlLogix,DeviceLogix, Connected Components workbench (CCW),RSLinx,RSNetworx

Preferred software tool skills:Webex,DPI platform, Vuforia/PTCChalk,, Proposal Works

Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required

Update and author Technical Notes and other documentation with solutions or workarounds to commonly experienced issues, how-to guides, videos, etc. to improve customer satisfaction and acceptance.

Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix issues in malfunctioning equipment or software

Develop area(s) of expertise within core area of Drives and Motion

Advanced system knowledge of safety, networks utilizing Stratix switches, multi-axis control, and robotics is a plus.

Represent Remote Support Services (RSS)during commercially sensitive I2R and Quality related product concerns. Collaborate in a cross functional capacity and engage the proper resources to drive high profile technical support commercial issues to closure.

Has very strong interpersonal & networking skills.

Excellent communication skills (verbal,written & presentation)

Should have exposure to Global Working environment, virtual teams, engagement with teams located at remote locations.

Ability to partner effectively with sales, project teams, customers & internal stakeholders

Good analytical & logical reasoning skills

Proven abilities to effectively collaborate internally and with other teams

Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

People Management skills:

Guide, mentor & coach team members

Develop skills enhancement plans

Provide peer input during PADR process

Motivate team members to result into highest performances

Building a training plan to assure continuous increase in the team skill set

Create plans to ensure individual development growth as well as business growth. (ie. 70-20-10, mentoring, certifications)

Resource forecasting, planning & utilization

Addresses conflict and other barriers to collaborate effectively & constructively,adapting to cultural norms and expectations

Provides technical/ commercial feedback internally and externally to enhance Rockwell's value to customer
