Job Summary: The sleep technician works under the supervision of the Medical Director for the evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders with both in-lab and home sleep testing. The technician performs both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions along with delivering patient care and education.
Requirements: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or a Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS); and/or graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program with current Ohio license and willingness to obtain RPSGT or SDS. Must maintain a current BLS certification. 1 year of experience strongly preferred.
Able to function independently, prioritize, and possess critical thinking skills.
