SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - PART TIME

As a part time (20-24 hours), nonexempt Speech Language Pathologist for CPS at Adams County Regional Medical Center, you are co-responsible for administration and direct application of Speech Language Pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. Duties include evaluating, planning, directing, and treating all patients referred to Speech Language Pathology. In this role you will assist patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine "normal" life within the constraints of their disability. In addition, you will also perform Modified Barium Swallows for adults as needed.
Schedule: This part time (20-24 hours), nonexempt position will be working between 20-24 hours per week.
About the Facility: Adams County Regional Medical Center (ACRMC) is a critical access hospital located in southern Ohio, approximately one hour east of Cincinnati. The Rehabilitation, Imaging, Outpatient Specialty Clinic, Laboratory and Cardio Pulmonary departments were enlarged to meet the demands of new technology and to provide access of needed medical services to our area. Adams County is the regional leader in quality healthcare providing services to a full spectrum of ages in inpatient, outpatient and skilled nursing settings, with 25 private inpatient units, 25 private outpatient units, 5 of which are designated as inpatient hospice units with the collaboration of Hospice of Hope - Ohio Valley. The Emergency Department has 14 private examination rooms with 3 specifically equipped for trauma. The Surgical Suite is comprised of two operating rooms and an endoscopy procedure room. CPS has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS.
About the Rehabilitation Department: Hours of operation are 7:30am - 6:00pm daily.
Master's degree from an accredited college in Speech Language Pathology
Current State of Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license
Current BCLS certification
Preferred specialty certifications
1+ years of experience in acute care and outpatient settings
(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th (or sign a declination form)
