What Youll Contribute to OHM Advisors

As an Engineering Intern or Co-op student, you will work alongside experienced engineers who will provide training, direction, and guidance. Primary duties will utilize entry-level engineering skills to contribute to the design and plan development of municipal and transportation projects. OHM Advisors internship and co-op program encourage students to submit their resumes and inquire about an opportunity that would best fit their needs. Internships are available year-round and typically last up to four months. Co-op students follow their universitys co-op rotation schedule.

Your Responsibilities

    • Assist project engineers in the application of principles, methods, and techniques of engineering design

    • Collaborate with a team to solve problems and complete projects

    • Assist in developing design documents and construction plans utilizing CAD

    • Construction observation and documentation

    • Assist survey crew

What You Will Need to Succeed

    • Current enrollment in college studying civil engineering

    • Willingness to collaborate with a team and problem solve

    • Well-organized, flexible, self-sufficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    • Excellent verbal and writing skills, a positive attitude, and eagerness to learn

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook

    • Basic AutoCAD or Microstation experience preferred, Civil 3D experience a plus
