What we're looking for:
You have 5+ years of experience in instructional design. You have experience with instructional design in a SaaS, Technology or Sales organization.

Summary

The Senior Instructional Designer for Wrike Sales Enablement designs and develops creative and engaging training and enablement programs, including instructor led courses, interactive eLearning, and practical application exercises using modern tools and techniques. Candidates must have the ability to design programs from the ground up, from conducting needs assessments through course production and program evaluation in a fast-paced collaborative team environment. Should be an experienced instructional design professional with demonstrated expertise in adult learning theory and best practices for ILT and eLearning development, and the ability to assess program impact for future iteration. A strong desire for continuous improvement in training products and programs is essential.

Responsibilities

Lead learning needs assessment and requirements gathering for project scope, content design, scheduling and scalability.
Work with business partners and subject matter experts to design training and enablement programs that support organizational priorities, identifying learning objectives and developing strategies to achieve those objectives.
Authors and creates content, including visuals and simulations, with input and source material from subject matter experts on topics related both to sales skills and Wrike product features and functions.
Develops methods for evaluation of program effectiveness, including direct and indirect measures, and connects learning outcomes to business outcomes through surveying and data analysis.
Continually refines existing training materials, courses and documentation, improving engagement, learning retention and practical application based on feedback from students and colleagues.
Identifies opportunities and makes for improvement to our processes, systems and training products to improve the overall team function.
Effectively uses tools for training development, including but not limited to digital media (graphic, audio and video editing), eLearning development tools, content authoring and presentation tools and other emerging technologies to design and develop engaging learning.
Must have strong project management and time management skills to operate in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field
5+ years of learning development and instructional design experience in a corporate training environment, preferably in SaaS, Technology or Sales organizations
Outstanding writing, editing, critical reasoning, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to guide and influence business stakeholders and colleagues on program design and training strategy. A conceptual thinker who proactively solves problems and makes common-sense decisions
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly and to convert technical or complex information and concepts into easily understandable content
Demonstrated ability to assess learning needs and design and develop media-rich, engaging, and high-impact learning solutions leveraging modern learning principles and adult learning theory
Experience with industry-standard learning technologies and tools, such as Learning Management System (LMS), project management tools, eLearning authoring tools, digital graphics media, and audio and video production tools to create impactful courses
Ability to predict and overcome obstacles. Results-driven, high-energy team player
