Description
The Instructional Designer and Trainer is responsible for developing and designing trainings and consistently providing the best customer experience possible. This position helps to identify, recommend, and present new training courses and curriculums while preparing course/curriculum materials.

Frequent travel throughout the Northwest footprint is required for this position.

Essential Functions





Consistently provide the best customer experience possible

Provide support to staff in meeting customer expectations

Coordinate between the Training Department and other departments

Recommend improvements to procedures

Recommend product / delivery enhancements

Train employees as required both in classroom and online settings

Identify, recommend, and develop new training curriculums, topics, courses, and methods

Define objectives for a course and/or curriculum

Outline the concept for a course or a curriculum, define the course medium, content delivery, assessments accompanying materials and learning approaches for both the trainers and the learners

Ensure that all course content is relevant and up to date

Support training efforts in mergers and acquisitions

Application of adult learning principles

Stay current on learning tools, trends, and ideas

Ensure accuracy of course materials

Attend compliance training events to stay current with regulations

Provide compliance training within business unit

E-Learning

Recommend improvements to procedures

Recommend product and delivery enhancements

Attempt to exceed departmental goals

Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations

Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency

Work as part of a team

Work with on-site equipment





Additional Responsibilities





Complete other duties and special projects as requested by management
