CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Our Client Service Reps (CSRs) work in an established, independent, small family business and provide outstanding support and problem solving for our valued clients. Our CSRs like people and they like helping. They are patient and empathetic; willing to listen, and always eager to make helpful suggestions. Our CSRs are confident problem solvers who are empowered to take the measures needed to ensure every client gets their questions answered or their problems solved while being treated with respect and kindness they will remember.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with modern office technology, and be willing to learn industry-specific skills and terminology. Prior insurance or financial services experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and texts
  • Accept and process payments
  • Generate sales leads
  • Identify and assess client needs
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with clients through open and interactive communication
  • Collaborate with other employees and company partners to come up with client solutions and advocate for our clients as needed
  • Handle client complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives and following up to ensure satisfaction
  • Accurately record client interactions, and follow up on client-related service tasks until completed
  • Thrill clients with genuine and knowledgeable service

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Track record of over-achieving
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Strong written correspondence skills, and ability to adapt writing skills to communicate via different channels (letter, email, text, etc)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Self motivating personality that thrives both on getting tasks done and building relationships

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour depending on experience
