Job Description
Job Summary:

The Director of Technology has high-level responsibility for understanding, planning, and owning the delivery of enterprise technology solutions for our clients. At Razorfish, Technology Directors lead technology architecture definition, development, design, user interface development and technology integration for marketing and transactional technology initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for building technology teams, leading technology delivery (from definition phase through implementation) as well as contributing to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Play key technology lead for 2 or more clients and act as the client technology partner
Ability to partner strategically with CIO/CTO/CMO level
Architecture definition and technical leadership of the whole life-cycle starting with presales to implementation of CMS, digital commerce, and/or Cloud Solutions (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, SAP Hybris, Oracle Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud)
Ensures consistency across projects by building, maintaining, and implementing quality standards for quality solutions
Establish measurable criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs
Lead the translation of the client's business requirements into systems design
Partner with clients to establish technology strategy
Establish high, mid and micro level plans and set technical direction for a team of up to 25 people
Collaborate with other disciplines such as business strategy, user experience and program management to ensure successful delivery of projects
Prepare sales proposals and present Razorfish's technology capabilities and proposed solutions to prospective clients

Qualifications
Experience:

Experience in leading teams of technologists of up to 25 people
10-12+ years' experience in systems integration and custom development, commercial package implementation, and/or interactive design
Extensive experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems and the development of specific client requirements with WCM/ECM (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager or Sitecore) and e-Commerce (e.g. SAP Hybris, WebSphere Commerce, ATG Oracle or Salesforce Commerce Cloud)
In-depth experience crafting deployment architectures including cloud technologies, containers platforms AWS, Azure, GCP
Web security experience (PCI Compliance, CSP, XSS, CSRF, and others)
Familiarity with the software design patterns/testing strategies TDD/BD
Experience with modern architectures, such as cloud-native and micro-services
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies
Deep understanding of complex computer science and software engineering principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (or related field)
