Cape Fox Federal Integrators (CFFI) is seeking an experienced Base Operational Medical Clinic (BOMC) Technical Writer. The Base Operational Medical Clinic (BOMC) Technical Writer will possess the expertise and capability to provide healthcare related technical writing as required. The Technical Writer position supports the U.S. Air Force Base Operational Medical Clinic (BOMC) and requires a Tier 1 background check clearance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by IPT members.
Recommends photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material. Study drawings, specifications, prototypes, and workflow and training artifacts to integrate and delineate operational procedures.
Format material for distribution on the enterprise's knowledge management system (in accordance with Tongue and Quill and additional Air Force Standards).
Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content.
