Essential Functions:

Ensure all Quality System functional documents (policies, procedures, concessions, etc.) are compliant with current document control practice and that only current, approved versions are released.

Ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.

Provide document control support to authors and process owners in defining and producing Lean Quality System documents and records to ensure proper quality of the content of documentation and records.

Review all incoming documents and all other change requests to assure proper approvals, completeness and accuracy per procedures.

Execute document approval, control, release, archival and obsolescence per the Quality Management System.

Lead Change Control activities. Perform Quality Change Coordinator role and Change Lead as needed. Facilitate/coordinate the change control process within the Change Management System.

Ensure distribution of all QMS controlled documentation necessary for manufacturing processes controls.

Ensure documents are maintained and retained per established Invacare policies.

Maintain all current and archived documentation electronically or hard copy, per procedure.

Responsible for driving completion of work based on Key Performance Indicators or other internal department metrics.

Assure document linkage and references are appropriately accounted for.

Owns the coordination of periodic document review and maintenance.

Will provide support for internal and external audits when needed.

Perform duties as defined in document control policies and procedures.

Strict compliance to Quality Systems standards and Good Documentation Practices.

Complete all required training applicable to assigned position / job roles.

Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

Ability to multi-task, working on and providing updates on multiple projects at once.
