The Quality organization is currently seeking a highly skilled, solutions-oriented Quality Verification Systems (QVS) Supervisor to join the Quality team at the Toledo Assembly Complex, Jeep Wrangler. Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist in root cause, containment and corrective actions for all quality related issues
Initiate investigations of quality concerns internally, at supplier locations and resulting from customer feedback and utilize data to drive issues to closure
Achieve timely completion of containment corrective actions (performance action notices)
Collaborate with subject matter experts and utilize problem solving tools in day-to-day operations to drive issue resolution
Provide technical liaison support between engineering, quality, production and product design departments
Represent the 'voice of the customer' to platform teams
Establish, maintain documentation of processes and train utilizing Stellantis World Class Manufacturing tools
Embrace and execute standardization of best practices that ensure quality products
Document all non-conformance conditions found and identify and execute opportunities for process improvement
Establish clean points and maintain acceptable quality standards
Demonstrate a working knowledge of vehicle audit items
Supervise all major aspects of vehicle inspection and analyze data for comparison to daily vehicle audits
Supervise the auditing of new production vehicles to validate quality or identify quality concerns
Effective supervision of all employees as assigned
Manage timesheets, performance evaluations, scheduling and time off approval for bargaining unit (UAW) employees
Adhere to the collective bargaining unit (UAW) contract provisions that affect area or employees under supervision
Hands-on training and coaching of salary and bargaining unit employees
Support the improvement of company-wide quality performance and achievement of quality & business metrics and best-in-class standing

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher
Ability to analyze and translate data into visual charts/graphs etc. for reporting purposes
Demonstrated use of problem solving skills
Flexibility to work on a rotating crew schedule over two shifts
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to be flexible to carry out tasks 'outside' of normal roles and responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical) / technical or advanced degree
Two (2) years quality related experience
Supervisory experience of hourly personnel
Knowledge of engineering specs, standards, and build objectives
