We're looking to add a new node to the Elastic Product Marketing cluster, focusing on Enterprise Search. In this role, you will work closely with the Elastic product teams, crafting go-to-market content and messaging to reach technical buyers looking to demonstrate the power of Elasticsearch to build custom enterprise search solutions for their organization. To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable with the technical aspects of your product and the markets they play in, as well as, the creative aspects of positioning technology through stories that are compelling, authentic, and engaging.
Build an in-depth understanding of Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack as they relate to Enterprise Search use cases
Craft compelling and differentiated outbound product messaging and content for developer or technical audiences
Enable the field on our products and solutions, through training and content
Understand and define the target personas and their buying needs
Define and execute (with operational marketing teams) the GTM strategy for new launches & campaigns
Build a positive relationship with peers in Product Management and Engineering and collaborate to build compelling product positioning and effectively launch new releases
Lead regular product releases, crafting messaging and content
Maintain a subset of competitive analysis for Elastic Enterprise Search
Engage with the field and solution architects for better understanding of the ways Elasticsearch is being used by customers and partners for Enterprise Search use cases
Help identify and shape customer case studies
Translate complex technical features and capabilities into compelling differentiators
Produce content for and attend Elastic events, third party trade shows and other events to help showcase our products
Some travel may be required
Curiosity about the "how" of technology to tell compelling stories about the "why".
Proven track record to craft engaging content, including blog posts, decks, videos, etc.
Comfort working in a very cross functional role, with a highly distributed team
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience
Direct experience with the search space, and audiences that build search experiences
Product marketing experience with SaaS product preferred
Comfortable marketing to mix of developers and business audience
Experience with Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack
