Job Description

Summary: In this role, the Equidox EAM works as a sales representative for the Onix Equidox product and services. 


Scope/Level of Decision Making: This is an exempt position operating under limited decision-making and supervision. Position performs a variety of assigned activities, referring more complex issues to the manager.


Location: Remote-Nationwide, Remote-Ontario, Remote-Quebec

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Providing support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs.

  • Independent outreach to develop a pipeline of prospects while also managing inbound leads via our marketing team.

  • Follow up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.

  • Understanding the prospect’s pain points and positioning the product and service offering to solve their problems

  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers (i.e. Return on Investment compared to competitors)

  • Developing sales strategies and setting quotas.

  • Staying current on company offerings and industry trends.

  • Maintaining a database of contact information.

  • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.

  • Handling complaints and negotiations.

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate(s) will have SaaS sales experience working with large enterprise accounts, government agencies, and EDU segments. The Ideal individual(s) will have a proven sales background in digital accessibility.

  • Creativity and organization - Act! CRM experience is helpful.

  • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills.

  • Excellent leadership abilities.

  • Analytical, decision-making, and management skills.

  • Ability to develop lasting professional relationships with clients.

  • Strong communication/presentation skills.

  • Comfortable working within a small team environment, collaborating and communicating with teammates to share knowledge and cross-sell.

Education: BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience

Travel Expectation:  10 - 15% Domestic.
