Inventory Process Manager

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Inventory Manager supports the management of finished goods, work in progress, raw material, excess, obsolete and packaging inventory. The candidate is tasked with managing stock levels and stock provisions in conjunction with demand planning, commercial functions and manufacturing operations. This position is a key driver in ensuring that adequate inventory is available to fulfill customer demand, while minimizing inventory costs.

Acquire forecasts for all finished goods inventory-consuming events and translate those forecasts into an inventory deployment plan, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure the inventory is managed according to constraints and targets that are aligned with the business strategy.
Establish critical inventory parameters (such as ABC and Safety Stock settings, replenishment quantity, and launch quantity), considering constraints and input, such as lead time and order cycle time.
Monitor and track inventory levels and reconcile inventory variances using all available resources to identify root causes and supply possible solutions.
Ensure all inventory metrics are met. Identify action items, marshal resources to address action items and follow up on all inventory-related issues to full resolution.
Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste or optimize customer service.
Develop monthly inventory budgets with finance, and measure performance.
Develop and maintain inventory planning assumptions in conjunction with purchasing, planning, manufacturing operations and commercial teams, including safety stocks, lead times, order quantities, campaign or production strategy, batch yields, and cycle times.
May need to be involved in leading teams to conduct physical inventory counts/verification on a regular basis.
May have to conduct audits of consignment or other inventories at third party locations.
May be required to oversee external tolling resources.
Measure, analyze and report key process metrics, and monitor adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).

Five+ years' Inventory Planning and/or Supply Chain experience in relevant industries.
Supply chain/operations certification a plus, such as APICS, CPIM or lean
Excellent level of written and spoken English
Proven success in leading teams or processes.
Proven track record of successfully working with all levels within an organization.
Project management certification a plus.
Availability to travel as needed
Supply Chain degree is desirable
