This position will plan, organize, and direct the manufacturing operations in a manner that assures the most effective return on asset's employed. Initiate plans and processes, which minimize manufacturing costs and ensure product quality through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital. Lead/manage continuous improvement activities for the production operations.




Review, analyze, plan, coordinate and lead all activities within the manufacturing operations.
Plan and implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to support strategic imperatives.
Assure timely and efficient introduction of new products.
Assure the development and coordination of systems and departments in promoting timely and smooth transfers from research and development to manufacturing of new products.
Develop schedule stability that allows for maximum return on efficiencies.
Improve manpower utilization within existing facilities and processes.
Oversee continuous improvement initiatives to maximize product quality.
Meet safety, quality, and financial targets.
Responsible for compliance to AtriCure quality systems and company policies
Ensure that all manufacturing personnel are trained, certified and/or registered for positions of responsibility

Bachelor's degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations in a highly regulated industry.
Strong leadership experience with proven ability to manage and grow teams.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent planning analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.



Experience within the Medical Device industry.



Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required
Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull
Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
