As a NetApp Senior Project/ProgramManager, you thrive when providing big-picture assistance to the organization, managing a full portfolio of projects in support of strategic business objectives. You manage a portfolio of initiatives that span across business units, work on larger or more complex projects, provide a higher level and wider scope of management to projects and project teams.
You have considerable expertise in establishing and operating a best-in-class PMO to include project intake, planning milestones, change management and governance, project repository and reporting & communications.
You are a creative go-getter full of ideas and can execute on those ideas in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal, cross-functional collaboration and social skills.Ultimately, you are motivated by continual process improvements and governance.

Managing all aspects of an organizational program to ensure all projects within the program are implemented, accepted and accomplished within a set deadline.
Serving as a liaison and building bridges among project teams within the program. Translating corporate objectives into program objectives and practices.
Planning and monitoring program development to ensure that quality standards and goals are achieved.
Organizing and coordinating processes and procedures for all project teams to follow within the program.
Ability to work collaboratively and act in a lead role as a subject matter expert within a team environment, to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.
Creative approach to problem solving.
The tasks this individual is responsible for are often non-routine and unstructured, requiring creative solutions
Limited management direction is provided to employee on new projects or assignments as well as review of activities and priorities.
You are an individual withthe relevant background and applicable experience that enables you to quickly become a proactive contributor and subject matter expert on team projects.
Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 12 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent combination of relevant education/certifications/training (see below)and applicable years of professional work experience.
PMP or PRINCE2 Certification Highly Desired
ITIL Certification Preferred
