As an experienced Software Engineer in Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS), you'll have the opportunity to work as part of a self-organizing engineering team whose mission is to provide capabilities and solve problems in alignment with a best-in-class customer experience. This team owns and supports a variety of web capabilities meant to connect customers and organizations to their data (accounts, user profile, etc.). The capabilities this team supports are at the intersection of many strategic and digital initiatives that impact the enterprise! This provides unique opportunities to solve key business problems.

Additionally, this position will report to a leader that is very passionate about innovation, a culture of safety, a product mindset, and developing and delivering solutions through mature software engineering practices. We are also a team starting to make significant investments in the AWS Cloud Platform. 

Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you'll do:

Solve complex problems through the application of technology
Engineer for speed and quality through CI/CD pipelines that test and deploy software
Collaborate with highly skilled and motivated product-focused individuals
Work directly with stakeholders to optimize existing solutions or design new ones to deliver business outcomes
Experiment with new technologies and practices to find creative solutions to complex problems
Provide informal leadership and coach junior software engineers
Formulate and drive strategy
Be a positive disruptor in the name of continuous improvement


Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a preference in a computer science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience
3+ years of applicable software engineering experience
Highly Successful performance in the competencies of technical abilities, solution design, execution, strategy, communication, and leadership.

Preferred technical skills:

Expertise with Java and/or Python
Cloud experience (AWS) or interest in exploring cloud technologies
Understanding and familiarity with modern software development practices
Experience, knowledge, or willingness to implement DevOps practices (Test automation, CI/CD, etc.)
