About the role:
As a Product Team Manager at TQL, you will be responsible for fulfilling the Product Manager's vision by leading a Product Owner team. You will provide support via regular coaching, establishing best practices and goals, prioritization of product backlogs and other day to day operations.

What you'll do:
  • Provide day to day management of Product Owners, including weekly 1:1's and routine shadowing/coaching to develop skills
  • Interview, hire and resource management of Product Owners (i.e., team assignment)
  • Anticipate staffing needs as we establish new development teams
  • Ensure that product backlogs are prioritized and visible so that team members and stakeholders can easily see "what's coming next"
  • Ensure that teams are focused on completing high priority projects first, while efficiently delivering incremental value to the business
  • Measure product outcomes and delivered value, ensuring that quantitative and qualitative feedback is leveraged for continuous improvement of our products
  • Ensure that Product Owners are fulfilling the Product Vision set by their aligned Product Manager(s)
  • Establish standards and best practices for the Product Owner role in collaboration with Agile Delivery Practice Leads
What you'll need:
  • At least 1 year of direct management experience is desired, but not required
  • Ability to lead 10-15 direct reports at a time
  • 3+ years in Agile product management
  • Be a great communicator that is able to connect with direct reports and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to organize and prioritize competing and quickly changing priorities
  • Exceptional mentor and coach with the ability to provide candid feedback
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
  • Scrum Product Owner certification preferred
