We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our growing team. The primary mission of the Enterprise Data team is to enable the availability and reliability of data across the enterprise to support Elastic's strategic objectives by driving how data is defined, consumed, delivered, and governed.

What You Will be Doing
Build out of scalable and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines resulting in Certified Datasets that will help enable the analysis and visualizations of the multiple initiatives throughout the organization
Collaboration with business partners (Sales, Finance and Marketing teams) in the creation of company wide certified datasets
Enablement and coaching of consumers, helping them use new datasets and dashboards that drive decision making and optimization of our business
Assist in the curation and visualization of Business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that drive operational and strategic success
Assist in the promotion and enhancement of our Analytics Center of Excellence
Establishment and communication of analytics and engineering-related standards and best practices
Ad hoc analysis, problem solving and assistance for our team and extended teams
Work closely with Analytics teams, Data Science, Data Engineers, Marketing and Sales Operations
What You Bring Along
5+ years relevant work experience (Business Analytics, Data Modeling/Analytics, Data Management, Finance/Sales Finance, Program Management)
Proven ability to be agile, proactive and comfortable working in ambiguity; think creatively to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems
"Bilingual" having a strong foundational understanding of both the functional (business) needs and the analytics/technology
Ability to lead various data initiatives, with a "customer-focused" mentality
Ability to think creatively coupled with strong analytics and problem-solving skills
Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making
Understanding of and appreciation for the nuances in data landscapes, business applications and processes
Experience leading enterprise wide data projects, structured and unstructured, joining large and complex data sets
Expertise in the following tools: SQL (writing and analyzing complex queries), Tableau/Power BI (defining data models and measures), Alteryx (willingness to learn is sufficient). Python knowledge a plus
Familiarity with data sourced from common ERP and CRM systems including: Salesforce, Netsuite, etc.
Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling experience is a plus
Self-motivated, pragmatic and get-it-done mentality
Strong teammate, adept at operating across different functions/teams and levels in the organization

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is between $113,200 and $155,700, which consists of a Base Salary or a Base Salary plus a Target Commission, depending on the specific role. The Base Salary offered may vary depending on factors including skills and experience.
Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within a holistic total rewards offering.
