Aon Is Looking for a National Health Pricing Manager As part of the National Pricing Team, the Pricing Manager is responsible to support Health Account Executives (AE's) with pricing Aon's compensation for renewal and new business accounts using Aon's pricing tools as well as developing strategies and value articulation material to support the AE's negotiation with Aon's clients. This role reports directly to the National Pricing Team Leader. While we have a preference for someone in our Chicago, IL location, we are willing to consider a Virtual/Remote arrangement for someone in the continental United States who is flexible to support colleagues throughout all US timezones. Your Impact as a National Health Pricing Manager Job Responsibilities: The National Pricing Team reports up through North America Growth Operations and is responsible to help drive the Articulating Value initiative, one of Aon's eight global standards, across the firm. We iImprove the ability of Aon's colleagues to articulate the value we provide to clients, and ensure we share fairly in the value we create is at the cornerstone of this meaningful standard. In this role, the Pricing Manager will support the National Pricing Team Leader with the following: Work with Health Account Executive's to provide pricing analysis and support with interpreting Aon pricing metrics using Aon's pricing tools for client compensation Pull client profitability and related data and time tracking reports for support, and interpretation, of the pricing analysis Provide coaching and preparation support to AE's for developing and presenting their renewal and new business pricing strategies for clients and prospects prior to national pricing council review sessions Actively participate in, and support coordination of, National Pricing Council reviews to contribute to AE strategies for client and prospect compensation negotiations Pre- and post- pricing council sessions provide mentorship and value articulation support to AE's for their client and prospect compensation negotiations using existing pricing tools, templates and playbooks managed by the pricing team or housed on Aon Avenue Continuously develop and implement improvements to existing processes, tools and collateral to improve and evolve the service offering to AE's afforded by the National Pricing Team Create for, and communicate to, senior leadership performance metrics and progress reports Review pricing work for quality assurance Further develop and maintain strong understanding of Health Care industry; specifically, compensation best practices Other related pricing support to team; to encompass tasks relating to pricing in general e.g. contributing to best practice You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: 3-5 years of related work experience as a Senior Health Consultant with experience in the health care industry Strong aptitude for client compensation negotiation and usage of various pricing tools within the organization Deep knowledge of AE processes and challenges, in addition to multiple products/LOB's Advanced skills in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work with large sets of data Ability to work effectively with multiple levels of management & client facing colleagues Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams Strong time management and organizational skills Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to prioritize and drive progress on multiple project Ability to work in teams and resolve conflicts Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience. The salary range for this position is $92,000 - $123,000. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans. The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
