The individual will be working at various asphalt plants and terminals in the Cleveland region, supporting production through electrical upgrades, maintenance and repairs.
The plants utilize PLC's, controls and MCC's to manufacture hot-mix asphalt.
Working environment is a combination of indoor and outdoor.
** The (5) plant locations in this role's region are: Sheffield Lake, Columbia Station, Cleveland (Central - docks area), Garfield Heights, and Grand River.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Work both supervised and unsupervised
Install quality electrical projects in a timely manner.
Work both efficiently and safely.
Work in various environments.
Operate company equipment.
Submit necessary paperwork as needed.
Complete necessary training as prescribed by the company.
Get along with others and represent the company in a positive manner.
Follow direction of supervisors and other project team members.
Education and Experience:
Previous electrical experience required.
Read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
Understand relay logic, PLC controls and motor controls
Bend and install conduit, rigid, EMT and PVC up to 4inch including underground
Class A CDL
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Able to comprehend code books, job specifications, blueprints, and other construction documents.
Able to move from job to job seamlessly to production.
Clean driving record.
Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screenings on demand.
Must be able to work alone or with large groups of team members.
Good working knowledge of the NEC.
Able to work in all environments. Wind, rain, snow, heat, cold, loud areas, etc..
Able to lift 75 lbs.
Able to climb ladders and work at various heights up to 125'.
Able to solve problems.
Ability to work variable hours at times including occasional nights and weekends
