Job Description

Position: Tamco® Manufacturing Engineer
Reports to: Tamco Operations Director
Classification: Salaried

At United States Plastic Corporation®, we take pride in serving our clients with excellence. We distribute over 32,000 plastic items and manufacture our own Tamco® line of industrial-strength tanks. Our facility is state-of-the-art with the latest web site technology, product tracking system, and order fulfillment equipment. We hold nothing back when it comes to delivering quality products to our customers in an expeditious manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and develop concepts for new products
  • Design and draw new products for production
  • Assist in mold acquisition for new products
  • Update 3D models and 2D drawings for existing and new products
  • Help identify and correct quality issues
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns with support
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs

Requirements:
Applicants should be Engineering or Technology majors, with abilities in MS Office, Solidworks and other analytical and planning tools. They should possess strong analytic and statistic skills, and have the ability to work independently. Preferred Solidworks experience.

U.S. Plastic is a drug free work place and a would require a pre-employment drug screening and medical exam.
