Scheduler

Your Skills






Manage assigned areas/suppliers, manage material releases, delivery work with suppliers to manage andobtain problem resolution.
Coordinate engineering changes and build schedules with suppliers and production so that customerexpectations are met while minimizing obsolescence exposure.
Analyze MRP weekly/daily to ensure uninterrupted supply of material.
Identify and support continuous improvement ideas.
Back-up Customer Service and Buyers as required.
Coordinate expedites of material from suppliers as needed to support the production schedule and meetcustomer requirements.
Obtain premium freight approval and initiate corrective action if required.
Communicate and resolve shipment discrepancies with the supplier to ensure continuous supply of material.
Work with production to determine schedules based on customer needs and ensure / review material availability.
Communicate any potential material issues to the management team via the Escalation Process.
Act as liaison with internal/external suppliers and customers concerning material, scheduling, and supply issues.
Prepare performance data, reports and metrics as required to support the companies' goals and objectives.
Communicate to the shipping and receiving associates any out of the norm shipments and or deliveries.
Coordinate, prioritize and communicate materials status, production priorities and delivery commitments for anyexceptions (outside the normal process).
Support New Product Introduction with any Engineering Changes and/or new launches.
Any other duties to be assigned as required.

Your Experience


3-5 years of production scheduling
3-5 years of capacity planning
3-5 years of customer service
