Knox County Career Center Schools is a public school district located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, that serves preschool students, over 600 high school students in 19 career technical programs at Knox County Career Center, and adult students in 17 career technical programs through Knox Technical Center. Position Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructor (Part-time) for Knox Technical Center (Multiple positions may be available.)
Reports To: Public Safety Coordinator
Starting Date: Immediately

Compensation: $19/hour (part time does not include benefits)
Acceptable Education, Training and Experience:
• Minimum of one (1) year of formal education related to curriculum, i.e., apprenticeship, service school, career center, or on-the-job training.
• Five (5) years of work experience in field related to curriculum.
• Certification related to curriculum.
• Satisfactory FBI and BCI background check, drug screen, and reference checking.
Description: The purpose of this position is to instruct subjects at the postsecondary level to adult learners. Instructor will provide in-depth classroom and hands-on training. Classes meet two evenings per week. This is a part-time position and does not include benefits.
Essential Functions Include:
1. Delivers lesson plans
2. Reinforces and evaluates learning
3. Records learner progress
4. Fosters professional relationship with learners and serves as a role model
5. Participates in the development of the educational program
6. Maintains organized, safe, and clean work environment
7. Maintains professional and technical knowledge as well as instructional technologies
8. Complies with state and professional continuing education licensure requirements
